I bought the product because I was given a Rodney Yee A.M. yoga dvd, and I really enjoyed the dvd because it wasnt difficult but it was relaxing and made me feel refreshed. I wanted a harder workout version and this dvd is perfect for that because it strengthens and stretches the whole body. It has wonderful movements and goes on 1 hour for each program I find it enjoyable. What I dislike about this dvd is that you are suppose to move slowly into the next position, but it doesn't seem to give you just quite enough time to do so if you are a beginner trying to learn what to do,but this is temporary because you will learn quickly and this would place a burden on those who use the dvd often.
Rodney Yee is the only yoga instructor dvd's I will definately buy others when I get bored of this one!
This particular "Power Yoga" DVD would not play properly on my older Sanyo DVD player. However it played fine on my newer Phillips DVD player. I bought two of these disks, one for me and one for a gift. I tried the other disk to see if it had the same problem and it did. They both stopped at 31:13 (in 1st hour)and in the 2nd hour, the both would not play properly until after the 1st 30 minutes. HOWEVER, Rodney Yee does have some excellent yoga DVDs (like Ultimate Power Yoga), which I had purchased from a different seller. It worked fine for me. I just wish his "Power Yoga" DVDs had worked.
I can't believe how long it took me to discover Rodney Yee. I have been doing yoga for fifteen years now, and while I generally like to attend a class, I have dipped in and out of various yoga videos. I have never found yoga videos that are as satisfying as his videos! This one has three excellent full-length workouts (an hour each) that emphasize different poses and body parts. They are all wonderful, creative and centered workouts. I think an absolute beginner would have a little trouble diving right in, but for anyone who knows what the basic poses are (downward dog, cobra, warrior, etc.) this is a nearly perfect pick!
Great video to improve your flexibility!
Helps the beginner as well as Veteran attune to Their body through specific movements.
I use this as part of a morning and evening routine.
This is a great addition to any video library!
Love it! I am an intermediate yoga student. This is an amazing video that provides three diff great workouts. I highly recommend it.
