Intense ping pong

I'm not gonna lie, I bought this game for under $10 because it was a deal and I'm a big fan of tennis video games. I was hooked on top spin for the xbox and this game is extremely similar, but on the small scale. A,B,X,Y are all different hit styles, and the game features a cool feature of counterspinning by returning a hit using the same style. The ball glows different colors to let you know whats coming, but the pace is so fast it takes some getting used to. Focus shots and short shots are also used and can throw your opponent off balance. This games graphics are incredible and online play is worth hours of fun. It gets a little repetetive just like top spin, but like I mentioned earlier its totally worth 10 bucks. I gave this game a 4 out of 5 because of its great graphics and cool TT dynamics. Download a demo and see if you like it, but stick to ebay for the best prices(I thinks its still $19.99 at gamestop).

A Well-Made Titles With a Few Short-Comings.

Rockstar is known to make superior games which surprise everyone. The are mainly associated with Grand Theft Auto, but the also have The Warriors, Manhunt, and now Table Tennis under their belt. All these are great games, including Table Tennis.

It's hard to capture the realism of a sport. Somehow Rockstar managed to completely imitate the sport so that it is as realistic as possible. As a match progresses, the players' attitudes start to change, they become sweaty, tension increases, nervousness and breaking points start to appear. All this is evident in Rockstar's Table Tennis. It's presented that well. Each and every character has their own personality and little "quirks" that they show throughout the match.

The gameplay is fun, exciting, and really fast-paced. You will actually be on the edge of your seat to attempt to get that last point in order to tie the game when you are down 9-10. Anything can happen in this game. There are basically no gameplay flaws because the game is just that well made. It's flows perfectly from one serve to the next, it's truly amazing.

The graphics are great for a launch title and can hold thier own even against some of today's games which came out 2 years later. You can see sweat, frustration, and all types on emotions on the players' faces.

However, the game is not without it's shortcomings. There are only three short tournaments, exhibition mode, and Xbox Live play. A few fun mini-games would have really brought up the value of this game as there is clearly not enough to satisfy anyone planning to play by themselves for long periods of time. Although this all can be ignored if you are playing against a friend. This is where the game's true potential is shown.

A great game that should at be tried by all as is it highly under-rated. It is one of the better titles on the Xbox 360.

OK game with a Good Price

This game is actually fun to play. Althoughtif Rockstar had put more time into this game it could have been much better. Very little to do for single player, only tournaments and exhabitions. Graphichs are great on this game. Characters don't always seem to move correctly thought, random miss swings. Online play can be fun if you good at the game, also has spectator mode so you can check out other players games online.
The price make this an OK game to check out.

One of the Best!!

I had to put in a review for this game to help bring up its rating because I absolutely love it! It's a bit dry as far as "added features" but the game will still get its hooks into you. You can't stop once you get going! The gameplay is genius in that it allows you to put all kinds of spins and slams into your arsenal. It's great learning each players' skills and weaknesses to find one suitable to your style. If you constantly have friends over playing 360 with you, then this is your game. If not, then you'll still have a lot of fun playing it over xbox live. If you don't have xbox live, then you'll have a lot of fun playing with yourself.

this game is great, for the xbox 360. its only 39.99 and has all the features that a $60.00 game does. i bought this game right away and was siked to play it. and i was right it is one of the best sports games i have ever played. this is because it has great graphic and is not easy to finish. i like this because when you play xbox live you have to play many times before you get good at it. there is a tounament mode, exabition, xbox live ranked and unranked and many other features. this game definatly deserves a 5/5!!
