This amp is quality made and has a sleek look. The performance of the amp is superb for one DVC 2ohm sub or two DVC 4ohm subs. It is also well underated as the amp produces more true watts then it is rated at.

As for the price, at under $200 it is the best bang for your buck you can get on a Rockford Fosgate Power series amp. It also includes a bass remote in the package! All in all you cant go wrong when if buy this amp and you will be satisfied as i am.

Closeout model from 06, great power output at closeout price, I think I only paid $180 shipped for it. This is the Fosgate power series amp, be sure to get the power series when you buy Fosgate amp. Reason for that is regular Fosgate punch amp is only 2 ohm staple, where their power series is 1 ohm stable, so you get higher efficiency. This 1 channel I brought was rated at 500W RMS x 1 at 1 ohm, these power series amp is way underrate, on the birth certificate for the amp show it is actually pushing out 1045W RMS, that is double the power stated. Great buy, would recommend to all my friend who want high quality amp at low price. Sony, Alpine can't even compare with them.

As a new user of Rockford Fosgate products, I must say I was not let down at all. This amp which retails at my local store in Wilmington, Delaware for about 600$, was highly recommended by all of the professional installers and salesman around. I currently have it hooked up to 1 single Rockford Fosgate T112, which is a dual 2 ohm subwoofer. This amp provides much more power than the actual RMS ratings, and I have put around 24 hours of use on the amp so far, and it has yet to overheat. Some people might be worried about buying products such as these through Ebay, because Rockford Fosgate will not warranty them. Since the price is more than half of what you would pay for it in the store, still do not worry. the reason why online retailers are able to offer these products for such low prices, is because the "Retail" stores who are Authorized Rockford Fosgate dealers are not always able to sell all of the equipment they buy. Not that I know how much exactly the retailers are paying for them, some salesman say its around half of what the sticker price is. So for that 600$ you are paying for this amp in the store, remember you are paying the rent for that store, the salesman, the technicians, advertising etc. I also had the technicians at a place called Sound of Tristate in Delaware take a look at the amp. They couldn't see any thing wrong with the amp. I included this part, because I was stressing over the fact of whether or not the amp would be in good factory condition. So besides all of that, I highly recommend any one who wants to hook up 1 high powered 2 ohm subwoofer(any sub that is rated from 500-800watts rms would be good with this), or 2 4 ohm subwoofers. You are mos likely going to have to invest in some high priced wiring, 4 gauge or better(the price goes up 4guage is very good , than to 2 gauge, etc.). Also a high capacity Fuse and Fuse Holder, which is used to deliver the amp power from the car battery. So when you are looking to upgrade your sound system, I highly recommend this Amp from Rockford Fosgate, and remember to not be thrown off by the low prices of Ebay...

T500-1BD excellent amp for the money

This amp is Rockford Fosgate at it's best. Small, compact and very powerful. My amp was rated at 755 watts @ 1 ohm and 489 watts @ 2 ohms. It does every bit of the power it's rated. For all of those who say Fosgate isn't what it used to be, give these amps a try. This amp is Rockford Fosgate at it's best.
