Download the latest drivers from Rocketfish and everything should be fine.
This card is basically the same as Creative Labs X-Fi Extreme Audio PCI that retails for $50 but with bigger PCB board.
However, the latest drivers from Rocketfish are from 2008 as of March, 2011.
I got this card at a good price (less than $25).
According to the Hardware ID (SB0310), this card is a re-badged Creative Labs Audigy LS PCI sound card.
Still very good and with optical out!
It works perfectly and reproduces very detailed sound. I used the digital output without any difficulties. I especially like the front panel output header on it. With the header I didn't lose front panel functionality by using this card and not using the motherboard's audio system.
Great product, easy to install (hardware) software a little tricky to install. The ROCKETFISH Sound Card performance is flawless, as long have connected 5.1 or 7.1 speakers system. The software itself is a little bit limited when you setup preferences. Other than that, this card delivers great performance for a very little price
Not easy to find drivers, card fades in and out on sound. This is a really cheap product. There is definitely a reason RocketFish discontinued the product.
After installing drivers be sure to change Rocketfish too your default, After that everything works great, very happy.
