I bought this DVD for my wife. She'd seen it years ago at the theater and liked it, and wanted it to watch occacionally at home. It's an excellent comedy, with two great actors playing the lead roles.
For Richer or Poorer is a funny movie. We have the VHS version of the movie but as it gets older it is more difficult to view without the tape being interrupted by jumping and distracting tape action. This disrupts the continuity of the movie. We were looking for this movie in a new DVD version that would play better and last longer than the VHS version. The price was right, the format what we wanted and the movie plays smooth and uninterrupted. Viewing a funny movie is more enjoyable.
Our Family just love this movie! It has a great story line and is really funny! It's hard to find a good comedy now days without all the bad talk and sex in it. It's one of those movies you can watch time and time again and never grows old...A true classic...
about a rich couple being investigated for tax fraud or something.Their marriage is about to fall apart. They leave the big city to hide out till they can find out why they are being investigated.Tim Allen and Kirsty Alley, the couple, end up at an Amish farm pretending to be Amish. At first, things were rough on them not being of the physical working class, but the longer they are there, the more they kind of like the simple life and actually rekindles their relationship.Everything works out in the end.A pretty good wholesome movie for all ages.I own it.
I just really like this movie it is funny, heart warming and real. I bought it as I am buying dvds of all the vhs movies that I already own and must have in dvd format.
