Lots of fun exercising to the oldies! No real need for instruction, as it is fairly easy to follow Richard Simmons and his group of people. A great exercise DVD for cardio, abs, and legs that leaves you grinning and feeling a little goofy while your body is getting toned!
This is my favorite of all the Sweatin to the Oldies series. It features real people trying to achieve their own weight loss goals, but just sweating and having fun to oldies music. It is easy to follow and okay to be goofy when doing it as long as you are moving and being active. Richard's over the top attitude keeps you involved and the music is clear, At a sing along to volume and it all comes together to help you stay motivated. I highly recommend this for the individual who is wanting to sweat and shed some pounds in a low intensity-HIGH FUN workout. Songs include "Locomotion," "Windy," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Respect," "Breakin' Up Is Hard To Do," "Pretty Woman," "Summer in the City," "Jailhouse Rock" "My boyfriend's Back," "Fever," "Rescue Me"
I am so glad that they made this into a dvd. It is one of those videos that you actually enjoying doing,and you achieve a nice workout to be proud of.
I love this workout! I used to own it on VHS years ago... but the tape was ruined. I would do the workout maybe 4x per week along with eating a little healthier, && over time I ended up losing 30-40 lbs! I decided to buy the DVD now just because I wouldn't mind losing another 10-15 lbs, and the routines are really fun! i've tried Sweatin' to the oldies 1 && 3 also, but this one is my favorite! Try it, you won't regret it!
Somehow my original DVD got lost. I had to replace it. I LOVE this DVD. About 7 years ago, I watched my diet (calorie-wise) and did this DVD 3X a week and lost 40 lbs. It is fun and yet it works to lose weight and tone up. I LOVE RICHARD. No other exercise DVD, Wii Fit or even the gym works as well as his exercise DVDs.
This is one way to exercise and have fun doing it. Dancing does not seem like exercising and the crazy antics of Richard Simmons takes some of the sting out of sore muscles. I find this easier to do than doing regular exercises.
