Revenge

This movie is great. Kevin Costner and the late Anthony Quinn were great as usual! Thought I had seen all of Kevin Costner movies, but must have missed this one at the theater. We enjoyed it alot. I rented this because Madeleine Stowe is so hot. She's one of my all time favorite actresses. How could two guys not want to kill over her. I think it will not only appeal to women but men as well. Sure it has a love story to it, but is has plenty action for the guys.I was really hoping that Costner would have killed Quinn (sorry Mr. Quinn,just movie talk). Rent this, you wont be dissapointed. I liked it so much, I wound up buying it. I could not believe how good this movie looked. It really looks like a brand new movie and it definitely has that Tony Scott look to it just like Deja Vu and Man on Fire. It's a very good sex/violence filled revenge flick as the title suggests, especially being that it's almost 20 yrs old (you'll never be able to tell).

Do you like betrayal? Costner before he sucked, think "no way out", falls for Anthony Quinn's gal.. He is a Mexican crime lord and none too happy about these attentions. Let the fingernail pulling begin.

It rocks. A much better first date movie than Shawshank Redemption--- and the movie came out in '90 not '98 like it says above..

Revenge

I thoroughly enjoyed this critically panned Kevin Costner movie. The forbidden romance between he and Madeline Stowe's character is HOT. The Mexican scenery is a lovely bonus. The only thing I didn't really like was the ending. Without giving it away, I did not believe it was realistic. One of the characters has an ill fated ending which I still don't understand. Still, a great movie to lose yourself in for a couple of hours.

editors shouldn't cut

Absolutely amazing how fast it got here, wow!!
Great flick, I did the unmanly thing and cried at the closing scene. Twice.
BUT !! it was missing two scenes I saw on the satellite version, where the dog bit the jacket and got thrown into the pool, and when K.C. stayed for supper and the guests acted like jerks and insulted him. Though not critical to the script it lost some of the effects of my original viewing. I suggest NOT getting the editors cut, but by all means get it and cry each time you see the closing scene. Get the movie and a couple hankies.

Very good movie

Anthony Quinn acting was just great. Kevin Costner is ok, but not good enough for this movie. The trama could have been better.
