I love reading Christian romances, especially the ones about the Amish. This is a beautiful story of love, acceptance and finally redemption. Sarah is a business woman who finds herself with a family when her Amish sister and her husband die. Needless to say, conflict arises, but by the end of the story the Lord has once more worked in mysterious (to Sarah) ways His wonders to perform. This book is much, much better than the movie, The Saving of Sarah Cain. This is one of my favorite Lewis books.
I bought this book because I love stories o fthe Amish.Just like all other books from Beverly Lewis this is a great read.I love how two different worlds can collide and even though they may not understand each other, they can still find a way to be a family.
This was a truely heart lifting book, I could not put it down! I wish the world would have more Sarah Cain's in today's society! I beleive Beverly Lewis is an AWESOME author!
I'm glad I bought this book to read. If you have already seen the movie "Saving Sarah Cain", you will also enjoy this book. The story is alot different but the characters are the same.I also got a better glimpse of the Amish customs. Beverly Lewis does another great job at keeping the reader interested! It's easy to read - I wish the story had been longer!
Their mother has just died and now 5 Amish children, Lyddie, Caleb, Anna Mae, Josiah, and Hannah Cottrell must contact their only living relative, Their Aunt, Sarah Cain. Sarah Cain is a modern day writer from Portland, Oregon.
This is a story of love and devotion. I highly recommend it.
