Record of Agarest War (Xbox 360, 2010)

It is a very good game. It does have a different style to it than most RPG's. Id say it plays along the lines a Disgaea game would. I bought it because i like "hard copies" of games as opposed to Downloads on hardrives. The ps3 version was going to take 8GB. something i have alot of space for but wasnt willing to do. So i bought the hard copy off ebay for my 360. The game is very long and has alot of replay value. Especially with the multiple endings, and the new generation of characters. All in all, i like the style of RPG, if you dont like turned based or strategy-RPG. i would not reccomend this. But if you like JRPG/Strategy RPG id say buy it. If your not into grinding alot for characters, or putting in lots of hours to a game to finish it, dont get it. This game requires alot of time to beat and alot of patience. If you want a game that you can just rush through quite fast, this isnt it.

If you like RPG's this is a typical turn based RPG. The art is pretty and it has great replay value considering how upon completing a game your descendents continue to fight. I was not fond of the AP idea where you have so many Attack Points per turn - however after playing for a bit, it's really not too bad and adds to the strategy of the game. Best RPG? Probably not... But I would definitely recommend adding it to your RPG collection. It's unique and hours of fun. For turn based goodness, I would recommend Eternal Eyes (PSX), Fire Emblem Path of Radiance for (GameCube), and definitely check out Jade Cocoon (PSX) and Jade Cocoon 2 (PS2).

Good game, just not Xbox 360 worthy for the current price, feels like a DS game. I plan on rebuying it when it drops to about $20 per copy.

Great game!! Have a guide for it, you will need it. If you like strategy type or story based games you will like this game. Oh, yes also use a cooling fan, most people know this if not I'am letting you know so it does not freeze up on you. Enjoy the game.

GREAT GAMES! A+ MUST HAVE FOR RPG FAN! Personally I like the style of Japanese RPG more than american one. It is different from all the conventional shoot games that everyone are playing these days.
