After trying so many camcorders, after so many years, I had to go back 12 years for this wonderful device. First special feature, the 72X lens, ideal for panoramic filming, if you like to take nice shots to mountains, lakes, ocean etc, and you can't afford professional equipment, this is the one. To save life to the heads, you just eject the full size cassette and play it at any VCR. And this camera must to be big, because ironically, small cameras are difficult to maneuver when trying to move smoothly around your body. That’s is the reason TV crew carry big camera over their shoulder.
love the full size vhs even though the camcorder itself is small compared to other full size vhs camcorders,like that there are no adapters to use to play your tapes,just record and pop into vcr,simplicity is nice...
would like an onboard light and extended mike jack,but having other features like ease of use, some special effects and the main reason i bought item was for the color view screen is great, you can set it on something or use tripod flip the screen and tape yourself, tapes great and runs smooth and quiet!!!
