Wonderful book for the model design enthusiast.
Mr. Lennon's book covers a great deal of the design process, and offers some challenges to the non-aerodynamically inclined - but his clear style and examples make the design process clear for anyone equipped with a moderate calculator.
This is an excellent read and worth the time. I highly recommend this book for the beginning RC'r or the advanced with many years.
Andy Lennon demystifies the science of model airplane design. He mixes just the right amount of math and theory with a generous proportion of practical knowledge. When you are done reading this book, you could with conficence design and build your own R/C airplane. This book is outstanding also if you just want a better understanding of why an airplane is designed the way it is, and would like to be a better pilot. After I read his explanation of flaps I stopped pancaking my Corsair! The book is an easy read.
