I'm a Steve Perry fan and learned that he sang a song in this movie, the old King Arthur/Knights of the Round Table/sword in the stone story. The movie is a great one for kids: good vs. evil, sensitive, a strong heroine. But for Steve Perry fans (former lead singer for Journey, known as "The Voice") the bonus is a video (Special Features: Kaylee's House) of him singing the song "I Stand Alone", beautifully!!! I got it new at an unbelievable price, it was sent quickly, and I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and others from this seller.
I love this movie because it's a very cute movie and it's an adventure of love and overcoming the power of evil to save the king of Camelot. I've watched this movie as a kid and I used to have it on VHS which seems to have vanished nowadays so I was pleased to see it on DVD so I just had to buy it to have forever :) it's a great movie.
It's a little old, and the voices don't match from singing to speaking, but it's a classic character sing-song movie about a girl who sets out for a search for Excallubur to save Camelot, and along the way makes friends with unlikely characters and proves to herself that no matter where she comes from, with her dreams and hands, she can set the destiny.
One of my little sister's favorite animated movies. Takes an interesting time period (King Aurther) and looks at a different more peripheral characters. Definitely a great one to have on your shelf.
I thought that the Quest For Camelot was really fun and imaginative for almost any age. It was like a PG type of movie I guess you'd say. There wasn't much violence as you'd think. If you show this to a child they'd like it. Why not you watch it too at least the first time and make your own assumption. Also "The Prayer" song is in Quest For Camelot as well if your a fan. This product is comparable by being a fun and classic tale and adventure like movies describe in fairy tales.
