439 pages inside book will help many educators, students, economics, nursing, social work in a functional fundamental. Book has 5 ***** rating from what I learned and read. I'm an author and publisher, I learned easy access plus writer guidelines.

Coauthors are plain script inside this book, sample letters & submitting articles, establishing written agreements. That's why title of book is called Publication Manual. I highly recommend book to anyone who is in need.

APA Manual 6th edition

The definitive source for APA format. This sixth edition has had some problems... The first printing, July 2009, contained errors (HUH?? The writing SOURCE had written mistakes????). APA immediately put a pdf file on their site to correct the errors. Naturally, people were angry...but APA did a second printing and honored all returns, replacing it with the corrected version. The problem, though, was that it became hard to find the 2nd printing. All the major places for purchasing books, both in-store and online sites were trying to get rid of the first error-filled printing. That is still going on as of now (June '10).

If you can get your hands on the 2nd or 3rd printing, BUY it. Not only does it have all the updated material, but it is also such a great improvement over Edition 5. It has less pages, is much more reader-friendly and less confusing. Being a psychology grad student, I need to keep it close for all of my papers, and I am glad for the size and format.

I'm an APA geek...which is kinda weird. :) I like the order that this new edition brings to the APA format.

Good book...just make sure that you don't buy the printing from July 2009. Get the October 2009 or December 2009 printing.

First printing has errors on 80 or 272 pages

Please ask which printing of the 6th edition APA Manual you are being offered- the first printing had 80 pages of corrections in a 272 page book, and aparently APA sent out correction notices - but who wants to look through correction sheets AND a book for referencing your work? When you are writing a scholarly paper, you don't want to make an incorrect citation or reference that will cost you points on your grade! ASK first before buying! First printing was released in June or July 2009, Second printing was released in October or November 2009.

Publication Manual For APA Style Papers

This Manual is Manual Of The American Psychological Association Style For Writing Term Paper in the Social Sciences. This is the new termpaper style used in todays colleges that replaced MLA and other styles. This manual is 5th edition 2001. The sixth edition was published 2009 but it is mor difficult to find then this version and you can still write papers from this edition quiet well and up today.

5th Ed APA

This edition is difficult to find as the sixth edition is currently on the market, however, the newest edition is lacking 139 pages! In comparison, the 5th edition covers the APA style most college professors are looking for in an undergraduate and graduate level. This edition is easier to flip through than to go online to search for quick information while writing a paper. It is a fantastic reference book to keep on file throughout one's collegic career as well as a go to book for future references to publish material.
