Great action and great story A++++

In this video game adaptation, Jake Gyllenhaal is Dastan, a price of Persia and must save the world from his evil step uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley) who wants to use the sands of time to go back and make himself King in the place of his brother. Along the way he meets and falls in love with the Princess (Gemma Arterto).

This was a great movie filled with action and adventure, high flying stunts, intrigue and edge of the seat entertainment.

The movie also stars: Richard Coyle, Toby Kebbell, Ronald Pickup, Alfred Molina, and Steve Toussaint

This Disney Movie is PG-13 for violence. Some parents may want to watch it first before allowing younger children to watch. I would not hesitate to allow children over 13 to watch. It has a lot of good, strong moral values.

Get the Blu!

Great Movie, and having it in Blu-Ray is worth it! Superb detail and nice scenery! While not on the level of Lord of the Rings, it is definitely an entertaining movie, and the plot has some nice twists. (Parts are predictable, but much of it is not, and holds your attention well.)

A couple of the characters have a strong enough accent (english/american/british) to break them out of (middle-east) character a bit, but nothing that a normal person couldn't overlook. Perhaps a bit of darkening make-up to help them look like they grew up living in the sun might have helped a bit too.

I will definitely be watching this movie a number of times, and I would highly recommend people to get it in Blu-ray (if they have a player) as this is the sort of movie where the detail presents very well. Even my wife commented on how good it looked and with amazing detail.
Some of the special effects were slightly uneven (dust storm looked like a special effect) however I didn't see it on the big screen, so it may have appeared better in the theaters than it did on a TV. Again, with everything else taken into consideration, it indeed is a movie I would highly recommend.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time blu-ray

Based on a 2003 Ubisoft video game, the film has dash and flourish with adequate performances and expert effects that keep a far-fetched tale buoyant without leaving any lasting impression.The blu-ray looks amazing. i also enjoy the fact that it comes with a Spanish soundtrack.i recommend the movie for anyone who enjoyed the game.

Very good Disney "Feel Good" Movie.

I had seen this movie earlier and wanted a Blu-ray DVD of my own to occasionally watch as a short escape from the day-to-day realities. This movie is a good family action adventure film with great cinematography that combines Disney family morals with good looking actors playing very light hearted roles. You can "feel good" after watching this movie.

Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia is a high action movie from start to finsh. If you're an action junkie then this is the movie for you. Jake Gyllenhall does an outstanding job of bring the video games main character to life. The movie's ending is inline with the magic that made the franchise a success.
