John Prine at His Best

There are some of John Prines best song on this CD.
It was recorded early in his career and shows his heart felt song writing abilities. (Sam Stone)can rip your heart out, where (Illegal Smile) has a comic side to it. (Hello In There) is haunting and true as any song has ever been. (Dear Abby) one of his best has a lighter side as well but (Souvenirs) is one of my favorite songs of all. There is nothing about this CD that I didn't like, in fact I have 6 albums of John Prine and this is my most listened to CD, Thanks Again, Greg Johns

John Prine (CD)

We went to see John Prine when he was in Knoxville @ a little bar around 20yrs ago. We had a cassette of this cd, so I was glad to find the cd. Me & my friends enjoy this cd.

Classic.. buy it and you will not be sorry..

What a classic... you will laugh out loud and ponder the lyrics for a life time :) My son heard the lyrics when he was 9...not at 31 he sings some of the songs to his kids !
