The Poulan PP4218AVX Reconditioned Chainsaw is a great bargain for those needing to cut a cord or so of firewood to keep warm over the winter. This pro version is a cut above their home models and has started and worked well for the two months is has been in use.
If you have owned other Poulan saws, and you are a moderate user, then this model should provide you with several years of good service.
My brother told me this is a lower end chainsaw so I was skeptical. I got an excellant running chainsaw with an extra chain, chain and motor oil, and a hardcover plastic carry case. I am tickles pink, works great! Five starts for the cost and the seller. My use is cutting trees out of the road to camp, clearing shooting lanes for my deer blind etc...

I bought this saw to replace my worn out Poulan Gas Chainsaw. I bought this saw as I had just purchased several new blades for the old one right before it quit. This saw runs well, is very reliable and easy to use. The Poulan PP4218AVX Gas Chainsaw has an innovative design which allows you to tighten the chain or swap out blades with no tools required. I would recommend this saw to anyone.
This chainsaw is easy to operate and maintain. My favorite feature is the no tools required chain adjustment. Excellent product that can easily suite your home owner needs. I haven't found a better price online or in stores!
When I received my factory reconditioned chainsaw, it looked brand new! Easy to assemble. Everything about it was perfect! Except for the chain. The chain that comes with it is not good for heavy cutting/ large trees. Spend the 25 bucks for a new quality chain with more teeth.
