When I first thought about buying this camera I decided to look up reviews and was worried about many of them said stuff like great camera for kids, had me worried that it might just be a cheep toy.
But I bought one anyways mostly because I trust brands such as Polaroid (or kodak) that seem to be a couple of the oldest manufacturers in the industry.
But about the camera.
- vibrant Cristal clear 2.7" LCD screen.
- It's Polaroid 10.0mp Quality is slightly better then a 10.2 Nikon and superior to a 12.0mp Vivitar.
- It has great sound Quality, if you ever find your self watching videos you took on it.
- The menu and function buttons are easy to navigate.
- The Auto adjust function works beautifully, no matter where I go I never have to adjust any of my settings to get the optimal picture.
- It has a battery function in witch you can optimise's the camera to get the most out of ether alkaline, lithium ion, NiMH and another I forget.
- Rechargeable batterys last forever on one charge!
- The battery's and SD card slot are separate from each other and the tab you pull up to insert the SD card feels as though it may break if I'm not Careful
- This thing is a monster battery eater EDIT; I bought NiMH (2450mah Duracell rechargeable batterys)And they last FOREVER on one charge, when I got it I put new battery's in it and they wore dead 3 days later, So I would suggest buying rechargeable or not leaving battery's in it.
Thats all, As I get further use out of this camera I may update this review, thanks for reading.
Great camera for novices or low-tech people like me. I bought to replace my Kodak EasyShare (LCD died). Mostly used for quick family shots and eBay listings. Quality of pics is outstanding. Price was perfect for my needs and budget. My daughter keeps stealing it from me! The 'steady' feature is unbelievable-she was spinning around in a chair while testing it, and the picture came out as clear as if she were sitting still. Features are easy to navigate. Would highly recommend.
I've used many digital cameras over the years and have to say that Polaroid has a totally amazing camera in this model. The speed at which it takes photos with no blurring, the crispness of the images, and ease of use makes it perfect for anyone from the novice to the expert! Kudos to Polaroid!!! I actually bought this for my brother, but decided to keep it for myself. :)
I have to take pics of my products to put them on my web page, and I don't have a bunch of time to edit pictures before putting them on there.
With this camera I aim and shoot and the picture is great, unless I did something, like moved, then you just aim and shoot again. There is very seldom any blurriness, or focus problem, just great pics. I love it and probably won't ever buy another brand!!! So easy to use, why use complicated, when you can get a great pic with ease!!!
This is a pretty sturdy small camera that I bought form my 6 year old nephew. We were looking for a real "kids" camera, but the ones out there are about $30 and a total piece of junk despite cute colors. So we bought him this and let him put stickers on it (which he never did). The great thing is that his parents borrow it (it is better than theirs!) and it has held up over the past few months. My little Canon Elph was so sensitive that the zoom kept breaking. We had the predecessor to this camera (also from Polaroid) for my daughter and we really like the quality of the shots and the fact that it holds up to minor abuse.
