Great product, built to last, and personally a great value for the money.

I purchased the 3900 to replace a 380 Polaris cleaner that was nickel and diming me to death. I knew from research that the 3900 was the Cadillac of cleaners and did not disappoint. It cleans my pool in about an hour, unlike my older cleaner that I would leave on for about 4 hours. The clincher to purchase the 3900 was the $200.00 rebate(debit card)when yousend Polaris the old body of your previous cleaner. This cleaner is built to last, so if you are thinking about it pull the trigger and purchase, but I'm not sure if the rebate is still available.

Very Satisfied with 3900 Polaris Sport

Don't hesitate to buy this little workhorse. Cleans my 19,000 gallon pool in only an hour. Easy clean out for the bag and required only a few cuts to alter the length of the hose and it was in the pool cleaning away the dirt and leaves. Tried to order it from my neighborhood pool supply and she said she can't buy it for less than they sell online.

Nice, but a single flaw

The 3900 from Polaris comes with a bad original bag design, with that said up front all other functions are great and with a updated bag, it works fine. This seller bent over backwards to make this one of my best pool purchases and they will afford future business from me without a doubt. I would recommend this product 8 of 10 but recommend this seller 10 out of 10 hands down.

Polaris 3900 Pool Cleaner

This is like a fine-tuned racecar. If you think you are going to just drop this in your pool and it will work right out of the box; think again. That having been said, the 3900 is an infinitely variable masterpiece. It will climb steps, walls and effortlessly keep a random pattern that cleaned my pool in about 1-1/2 hours. Once you get the thing adjusted properly it maintains it's settings and then you can just drop it in and let it work. My pool is a 40,000-gallon pool that has many obstacles. The depth ranges from 3 feet to 11.5 feet deep. The 3900 keeps the walls scrubbed and the bottom spotless with no effort on my part. I only use it for about four hours a week and the pool stays clean. I have tried other pool cleaners in this pool without success but this one gets into every nook and cranny. The folks at Polaris really know what they are doing. Read the instructions carefully. Spend the time to adjust the 3900 properly and you will have many happy years with a clean pool.

The 3900 POS...piece of $h1t.

This is the worst polaris pool product to date. My old 380 gave me years 12+ of almost flawless cleaning. My updated 3900 lasted just over a year and I had to spend almost $300 for a tune up kit and installation after one of the wheels fell off. Last month I had to purchase the quick disconnect another $20. After a few hours, the 3900 coils up in a knot as the supply lines tangle upon itself. VERY disappointed in the product quality. I do not abuse my equipment, but at least it should last 3yrs with no problems.
