| Building on an award-winning design, the Pioneer TS-A1604C offers increased power handling compared with its predecessors, delivering 50 watts RMS and 350 watts peak power. The Pioneer car speaker uses an elastic polymer surround for greater sensitivity and an IMPP interlaced aramid fiber cone. Other components of this two-way 6.5-inch speaker include a 3/4-inch soft dome tweeter, equipped with a lightweight diaphragm and a neodymium magnet. In addition to the 7.6-oz strontium woofer magnet, the Pioneer TS-A1604C has a heat-resistant voice coil. This Pioneer car speaker features a shallow mounting depth of 2.1 inches and cutout dimensions of 5 inches by 5 inches, making it easy to place in a door or rear of the vehicle. This two-way 6.5-inch speaker has a frequency response range of 29 Hz to 29 kHz, allowing users to enjoy sounds across the spectrum of human hearing. In addition, the Pioneer car speaker has 4 Ohms of impedance and 90 watts of sensitivity. | |

Bought these to replace the factory saturn L200 speakers that were completely trashed. Although they are not top of the line speakers they are a huge upgrade from the factory speakers and well worth the price. Sound quality is excellent. Good bass and clear highs. When they are tuned properly with the head unit they are far better than most factory speakers. Even without proper tuning they are way better.
Running these off of a Pioneer DEH-80PRS head unit and a Boss CX-600 amp with proper setting of the gains. The amp has 25 watts more at the max RMS level than these speakers can handle. No problems so far after over a month of about an hour a day usage with this amp and proper gain settings.
