| The Pioneer DEH-6400BT in-dash receiver is a stereo receiver that provides multisource playback and is designed for use in vehicles. The Pioneer unit is a CD/MP3 in-dash receiver that combines memory card-based media, disc-based media, digital media, and radio frequency playback options. This Pioneer in-dash receiver holds a disc drive for playing disc-based media such as music CDs as well as an AM and FM radio tuner for receiving radio transmissions. It also includes an iPod connection for digital file playback via an iPod or other compatible MP3-enabled devices. An SD card slot, USB port, and auxiliary input offer more playback options. The Pioneer DEH-6400BT in-dash receiver can switch between the sources at any given point, providing a diverse listening experience. Up to 24 channels can be preset in the tuner memory. The disc-based playback options in the CD/MP3 in-dash receiver include multiple format options such as standard CD, CDR, CDRW, and MP3 CD. The Pioneer in-dash receiver is FAT16/32-compatible for digital media with decoding for MP3, WMA, and AAC files. The unit was very easy to install. Had a little trouble with the initial set up menu the first time around, but after reading other separate function instructions everything worked right. This unit sounds great, the bluetooth function works great. I have albums saved on a USB drive and the folder and file functions are easy to use and search for a particular song. The remote control makes all of this a snap to use while driving.
The best receiver I ever had. It has an amazing sound quality. What I like the most is the fact that it offers a wide range of options in a significantly low price. The only two problems I have with it are: when a phone is connected with bluetooth the stereo does not receive the audio from the call, the second is the stereo does not show the clock when the car is off. Other than that the stereo is amazing.
Great deck - love the fact that it shows you what radio staion you're listening to , the artist & song that's playing . Show's you the name of the person calling you via bluetooth . The hands free sound is great & the mic is clear sounding . over all a great deck for the price !
I had the non bluetooth model in my truck already so 6 months later we found the 6400 bluethooth model here on eBay for the same price we bought the 3400 non blue tooth model at car toys. I love the hands free and how this 6400 model recognizes my phone upon entering my truck.
