Classic design—other brands continue to imitate!
Created: 10/10/10
Why are other brands still imitating this design? Cast, forged, or milled—they are all mere imitations and variations of PING's original designs. Prices of NEW imitations vary from $20 to hundreds of dollars for milled models; so why not own an original, especially with a brass alloy head.
Get one in very good, excellent or mint condition for pride of ownership, keep it in clean shape, use it regularly, and take a back seat to no brand and no one, regardless of cost!
As far as equipment is concerned, you can't go wrong—the rest is up to you.

Excellent putter at a great price.

The ping Karsten Anser 2 putter is a classic Ping design and the putter that many others are based on. Before spending upwards of $250.00 for a Scotty Cameron, try one of these. The internal insert dampens impact while still providing excellent feel and feedback. The weight is perfect for me - Not too heavy.

The Best Putter Under $100
Created: 05/03/09
This majestic club putts like a dream. You have incredible feel and touch over your stroke. If you don't know what that means, you will when you use this putter. It is lightweight, easy to line up, and offers a nice, smooth stroke. I play golf, and also enjoy mini-golf. I'm considering purchasing a second one for mini-golf–it's that good! Unless you can afford a top-of-the-line putter, that will set you back $200 or $300, this is THE putter to buy.

great putter, balance and looks very good. put on larger grip which gives more control. I guess I need to enter 100 words, however sometimes you don't need all those words if the item can be described as excellent with just a few descriptive words, which can be interpreted by someone with some form of intelligence, thereby negating the need to put in extra words of description unless this review is read by non-golfers who could care less about a review concerning a golf putter, of which they have no interest. Now, I described why I liked the putter, and there is nothing I dislike about it. I decided to buy it because I needed a putter and this looked like it was one I could use with comfort. But, to be honest, I have now switched putter and am using a different Ping putter. I will keep this putter (as I have many others) and bring it out when I feel I need putter improvement in my game.

Best Putter I've Ever Owned

Chances are, I've needed a 36" putter the whole time and didn't realize I was "making due" with the 35" Anser-style putter I've been using for the last few years. I've always drift toward Anser-style putters so now I finally have an original and it's great!
