The picture quality of the Phillips dual screen is quite amazing. We have had other portable DVD players and the sound of the Phillips PET9402 is by far better than any others we have had. We also believe that the quality of the units are by far better as we were in quite rough terrain and the DVDs did not skip once. However, the only thing we would love to see is a remote. If adult passengers are in the front, there is no way to change the DVDs or adjust volume etc. w/o bending far over or pulling off. I would think a simple remote would be easy for Phillips to make for these units. However, we do like them and would recommend them to anyone.
I bought this unit for my 9 months old daughter. Its great has Awesome picture and for the price its unbeatable! Large screen the picture is amazing, Sound quality is great also. The unit was refurbished, so the actual black surrounding had a few scratches nothing major! The screen was in perfect condition. Its easy to install. I would recommend to anyone looking for screen for there vehicles! You will not go wrong with this unit! Your child will love it! My baby has not cried or thrown a fit since we got it. Shreik on the highway is great, I love these people!
My girls are very happy with the dvd player. Keeps them very quiet in the car.
It has a great picture quality.
I bought this because we were going on a 6 hour car trip and have three small kids. It is a lifesaver in the car for a long trip. I love that the screen is so big it makes it easier for the kids to see it from the back seat to the back headrest of the front seat (in a mini van). I also love that we could use it as a cd player in the car, the volume does not got high enough to really hear in the front seat but I never heard the kids say they could not hear it. I also Love that it has a wall charger, I actually watched a movie in bed one night. I would recommend this dvd player to any of my family or friends!
Overall, I am very happy with the DVD players. Great price, great picture, great convenience. My only complaint (and it's not a huge deal) is that the cords are a bit short. If your only power source is at the front of your vehicle, it is very difficult to get the screens on the headrests. We just bought a splitter with a longer cord, so we have another outlet and plenty of cord.
They feel sturdy and good quality. The picture couldn't be better on the 9 in. screen. We love that the video resumes at the same spot after power is shut off. Saves a lot of complaining!
We looked at MANY systems, and this seemed to be the best option. I am very happy with our decision and would recommend this system.
