Philips PET1002 Portable DVD Player (10.2")

i enjoy being able to view any movie that I have in my library whenever I want to. The quality of my player is excellent. The picture is very clear without distortions. My only dislike about this DVD player is a feature of all DVD players-the battery pack can only take a limited number of charges before a new one has to be purchased. I decided to buy this one because of the reputation of the brand name and people that purchased ones that have a lesser brand name seem to enjoy their players. Would I do it again-in a heartbeat. I spent 2 days looking for a portable DVD player that had a long battery life for the 10 hour flight to Dublin Ireland and 90% of them lasted only 2 1/2 to 3 hours. the ones that had longer battery life was ones with smaller screens. I had almost givin up and stumbled accross a 10 1/2 inch screen and a battery life of 5 to 7 hours. It came with a carrying case, a holder that you could put on back of car seat, a remote, av charger, car charger, video adapter, and much more for a wonderful price. Would recommend to buy.

I bought it because I wanted an inexpensive portable dvd player. Wanted this particular one because it had a large screen. Works fine and I like it very much. What I didn't like was that it had no manuals or instructions included. Thank you.

Great DVD player. Good picture and easy to use. It has a long lasting battery. We use in in almost every room of the house, as well as in the car. The sound quality is good, as well.

Good quality portable dvd player. It is a little on the loud side loading up, but not as noisy when actually playing, but it's better to use headphones anyway.
