Purchased item in order to see certain dvd's did not play on our regular dvd player, item works well, it is compact so it takes up less shelf space and it is also light weight, won't weigh to heavily on top of another item if the need occurs to place on top of a vcr. Will play music cd's and video cd's as well, will play dvd's you burn on your computer as well as music cd's burned. Definitely great item to have.
My DVD player died and I needed a new DVD quick. I searched eBay and found the Phillips at a good price. It is very compact and inexpensive. All DVDs have played no problems with incompatability. eBay is a great place to find inexpensive items from the comfort of your home.

The perfect DVD player for my use. I just wanted a simple and inexpensive unit to play my exercise DVDs in the basement. I didn't need any "extra" features and I wanted it to be small in size with a minimum of buttons. Now, this one keeps me company as I jump around. Love Ebay and love this unit.
This was a quick purchase that came out pretty good it plays everything from dvd's to cd's burned or not. To that extent it works well, I honestly don't like the look of it, it seem like it looks fake or really cheap. But like I said before it works good and I just purchased it as an extra for kids to play theie things on I would of liked a control, but I guess it was not included. Overall if I could Have found a nicer looking one I would of. Anyways that's just me.
This DVD is perfect for the purpose I bought it for. We only use it occasionally in the bedroom and I wanted something inexpensive. I have had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. I have bought many more expensive DVD players that were in no way superior to this one for the purposes I need it for. Thanks!
