Bought this item new. It is somewhat hard to get for some reason. The DVD basically has a similar track listing as the famous Frampton Comes Alive CD. Saw many good reviews so I bought it. This is an excellent pro shot show with great audio - really pleased with the performance. I'm a big Zep fan but a change of pace is nice - Frampton can sing and play his Les Paul to your delight. One of the best concert DVDs I own. Great addition to my insane collection of rock DVDs. NTSC format plays fine so no worries abou playback in the US.
I loved the concert. Peter warms up to the audience and really makes you feel part of the show. This was my first viewing of a Frampton concert and it makes me feel like I wish I had seen him years ago.
What a wonderful concert DVD. Peter Frampton filled in the background music for the generation that was coming of age during the bicentennial era and theese songs were staples at events and his newer works are wonderful as well. A musical genius at work
Having had a room mate who was his drummer for a while, and knowing a bit of the background/back story of Penny, and having tried to work with his expie cohort steve for years (always with strange representation), I have always felt a certain "kinship" with Peter. He has always been so much more talented than he has been given credit...no he is not just another pretty face, but a great and talented musician and this video shows it. This is a great video for guitar players as well...Peter has a unique style of playing that is well worth learning and growing aquainted with.
I really like Peter Frampton. I believe he is one of the underrated guitar players of our age. I liked the mix of classic songs, as well as the new songs too.
If i could change anything about this video, it would be more shots of Peter's hands as he is playing his solos. The choice of songs, I think, really shows Peter's band is one of the best he has ever played with.
If you are a Frampton fan, I think you'll love this video.
