) I needed a camera that was not a digital. Historically, Pentax has made cameras that are not only sturdy but easy to use. This camera lives up to the Pentax name. It is light weight, produces high quality pictures and is easy to travel with. I would recommend this Pentax ZX-30 to anyone needing a good all purpose camera.

) I bought this camera for the 70-300 AF lense that came with it. This is an Auto Focus camera that would be good for the occasional user. I took some pictures with it and it did take good pictures but it felt like it would not be a very durable camera over time or for heavy use. This would be very good for someone who does not know what an f-stop is or what lense speed is. Parents who would like to shoot pictures of their kids would appreciate this camera.

) Vert nice film camera.What I like about it is the easy to see viewfinder display, diopler settig and the AA batery pack acessary.The bad features I found is that you have to use PKA lenses and not the manual lenses.If you used a very large lens with say a pk adaster, the shutter would not release. Overall a great camera....

Great for the non-expert photographer

great camera for the not-an-expert type photographer. current reasonably-priced digitals are useless in an action environment. I didn't want to spend five hundred bucks to have a camera that could catch the action, so I returned to the old film type camera. It also gives me the manual setting capability if I ever get competent enough to do my own settings. Great value for the price. Probably not cool enough for the self-ordained expert photographer but for the weekend camera buffs - just right!!
