With sleek dimensions less than five inches in width and just over one inch in thickness, this Pentax digital camera is waterproof to 33 ft so it can shoot pictures under water. The reinforced polycarbonate body is crush-proof to withstand up to 220 lbs of force. This camera is also dust proof, shockproof from up to a drop of five feet, and cold proof up to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. An enhanced digital microscope mode of this 14 MP digital camera provides five macro LEDs that capture details and focus perfectly on close-up images. At the same time, this 14 MP digital camera has the ability to shoot high-definition movies with a resolution of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. An HDMI port on the Pentax Optio WG-1 enables these high-definition videos and images to be played back on HD televisions. Pixel Track and Digital Shake Reduction enable the Pentax digital camera to take images that are sharp. ) Nice little camera great for bike riding and canoing. Shoots all outdoor pictures with ease and can take good low light level sun rises/sets by reducing the ISO speed to 200 and mounting in a tripod. Comes with a lens snap in ring that takes standard 46 MM filters - good for adding a ND filter to help slow the shutter speed for special effects on bright days.

like the ease to use. does have some lines in the video sometimes. works well ucderwater which is why we purchased it. great product and fair price.

I bought this camera for the waterproof feature , everything else in features it came with was a bonus. Two other guys and I do alot of fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, both kayaks and wading so that is the need for waterproofing.Just got back from Tampa St.Pete area and the camera performed exactly as described.The picture quality and zoom are perfect, very operator friendly a plus when offshore in a kayak .One very satisfied buyer with a camera that performs as it claims
