Since I was very young I loved the original movie The Parent Trap, with Hayley Mills and then the one with Lindsay Lohan came out and I love it.the twins in the Lindsay Lohan movie liked Oreo's with peanutbutter and so do I They were born on Oct.11 so was I. You see I did not think I would like the Lindsay Lohan remake, but I found what a wonderful actress Lindsay Lohan was even at that young age. And as always The Parent Trap is still my favorite movie.
This remake of the old Disney Parent Trap although updated keeps the fun, romance, family atmosphere, reuniting of family as did the original feature. Young and old alike can kick back, relax and enjoy a truly entertaining and family suited movie. It is nice not to have to be concerned about 'attitude or language' that is unsuitable for any age!
Personally I'm not a fan of Lindsay Lohan now but when she did this movie, it was cute. I bought this for a friend that wanted the dvd. I am still partial to the original with Hayley Mills. Dennis Quaid does add some nice eye candy to this version. Cute plot but its been done.
I love this movie. I could watch it 10 times in a row...it's just so funny. And I truly believe Lindsay Lohan is at her best in this film. She proved she can act, for sure! And Dennis Quaid is always sexy!
I'll make my points very clear:
This is a excellent family movie. Yes it makes you warm and fuzzy (laughs) and all the kids can watch it. So with that being said if your not into family movies you wouldn't want this. Also it depends on your opinion on the actor(s), I happen to like this version better because its more modern, and have nothing against Linsay Lohan who I think did a wonderful job.
Plot:
It's a simple plot where twins at summer camp find out they are sisters, try to unite their broken family by switching places.
