The Pacifier

A navy s.e.a.l. assigned to protect children? Come on?
But, here is a man, concerned about National SEcurity,
agrees to take on an assignment, to help the Bad guys,
unbeknownest to him. And falls in Love with a fellow
sailor (a female) who is also a principle of a school.
With Military bearings intact, and Espirit De Corps
he challenges, the would be brat-pack to an all out war
of the minds and his strengths. He helps the kids, come
to grips with one loss, improve on their strengths, challenge
the system. Do the part of the Underdog, and save us all from
calamity. Vin Diesel, is a good character actor in this movie
but Gary the duck steals a scene from him, when they both meet.
A great Family movie, and a funny military movie, for those
in the military who want a good laugh.

Very cute family comedy

Vin Diesel plays the part of (Navy Seal) guardian/nanny when the father has been kidnapped and the mother is trying to help the government get him back. The kids don't want a guardian and make life miserable for "the pacifier" but it all comes together with kids loving "the pacifier" and the parents get home too. Funny Asian bad guys and Gary the duck. You'll like this one.

Vin Disel A Babysitter?

This is a great movie for all the family. It is funny yet has a serious point to it. Not the typical Vin Disel you would expect. Vin Disel is a babysitter, but not an ordinary one. He is only playing the part of one uncover to protect the family. He is still the strong, macho man he always is. This movie will keep you laughing and watching throughout the entire movie with it's comedy and yet upscale protective guidance from Vin Disel. It was a must have for my family. We love this movie and can watch it over and over again.

for the movie being used it works excellent

this movie is both funny and serious at times i can still laugh at the part were vin diezel was in the kitchen and the duck came up and bit his ear. never would have imagined vin in this type of movie but he did a great job. in this movie he plays a marine who has to come in and fill in as the nanny so the kids have someone to watch over them while there mother is out of town and the kids just do everything the oposite of what vin tells them to do so its just all around funny movie but can get serious at times

Heartwarming...Family-Fun Filled Comedy!!!

I love Vin Diesel as an action hero, so when I saw the preview of a buff action hero playing dress up in a bottle fanny pack; I had to see it! It is hilarious! The plot synopsis of a family in an emotional rollercoaster from losing a parent comes full circle when Vin Diesel puts everyone in place! Without being too harsh or dominating, he builds a close bond with the children helping them make a 360 in both their attitudes towards others, and most importantly their attitudes with themselves. If you want an uplifting movie about family that shows there still are families out there that care for one another and enjoy spending time as a family, this is the movie for you....if not...you are missing out!
