This camera is a well buily and easy to use camera that produces excellent quality images from the user point of view. I have not seen any technical informative reviews on this model. The images I have taken with it are sharp and i can not detect any degradation in image quality until you start getting outside the limitatations of the 5 megapixel standard. So an 11 x 14 image with this camea is about as good as one could ever ask compared to a smae size image from a 400 asa film enlargemet. It takes xd and cf cards and theere is a huge capacity with only five MP on a 1 gig card and the battery will give you around 300 pictures without the recharge. So two batteries will last all week on a vacation where all you do is take pictures.
The ergonamics of the grip are wonderful if you have large hands as i do so it is a camera that feels like you have a piece of equipment when you use it and not a toy like the newer daintier cameras.
