lots of features for a good price

Nokia 6085 is a well featured cellphone for an affordable price. Camera, bluetooth, radio, mp3 player, and above all, a quad band cellphone with an outstanding reception quality. The incorporated memory is quite small, but it takes a up to 2G mini SD card. All in all, a very good phone for the money.

Pink Nokia 6085

The phone isn't all I'd hoped it be. Looks real nice, but seems like low quality and may not hold up well. The flip is already worn and loose. Does have all the basic features, and works fine, but not sure I'd purchase this model again.

I bought two of these phones for about $20-25.00. One was to replace my old 6085 (the LCD light was starting to go out), and one was for my daugther.
What I didn't know was that the 6085 was one of four phones that can be used on AT&T's prepay plan which is the best deal going for $50.00/mo; providing unlimited, internet, unlimited "anytime" phone minutes, unlimited texting, basically unlimited everything. There are no extra fees. It's wonderful!
We have great reception and no more worries about whether we are going over our alotted minutes each month. We had been with Centennial for $83.00/month for two phones, on a limited plan. But Centennial is no more, come the end of February 2012, so we needed to make the switch to AT&T.
AT&T is the only company that will let you use your own phone for their prepay plan. So for only $8.50 more per month for each of our phones, we can enjoy unlimited everything with this great littl flip phone, enjoying such features as speed dialing, special ringtones for special people in our lives, unlimited texting, e-mail, and internet i.e. weather, etc.
We love our phones!

Nokia 6085 cell phone
Created: 11/02/09
I bought the Nokia 6085 to replace a phone I already had and to go along with my other line on which I already had a Nokia 6085. The phone was advertised as for A T and T which I didn't realize until the phone arrived. I was able to get the phone unlocked by calling T Mobile tech support DEFINITELY NO HELP AT THE T MOBILE STORE! The store personnel know nothing except how to sell a new phone and plan. Their tech support gave me the number to AT and T which I called and got instructions mailed to me to unlock the phone. I followed the easy step by step instructions and am using the phone with no problem. It is great. One note: Before calling AT and T, get the IEMI number off the phone by removing the battery and looking on the label beneath it.
