Good Product; Can Always Use An Extra One
Created: 02/09/09
Most Nintendo Wii conosoles come with only 1 remote controller in the box, an additional is always a must-have for any social gaming that is to be played. I like that the newer controllers come with the rubber sleeve to protect the remote if dropped. The rubber sleeve also allows extra grip when holding the remote and waving it around. Another feature of the Wii remote controllers is that they will automatically shut off after an extended period of non-use. Always a good thing for preserving the AA batteries. Lastly, I like the built-in speaker of the controller, definitely an upgrade over controllers used for other game systems.
The downside? Only the price. Competive gaming systems have cheaper remote controllers; but they do not require the same motion-sensing Wii technology.

Wii Are Nintendo

The new age of gaming has begun. Virtual. The Wii and Wii Remote are a stand-out in the world of gaming - where you control your tennis racket, steering wheel, baseball bat, sword/lightsaber and many other items during game play.

Wii Remote

I'm not much of a gamer but I'm very happy with the Nintendo Wii and the unique remote control that it uses. The remote is user friendly and makes playing more fun then some of more complicated game systems. I love that it's motion sensitve and very light weight. It's only drawback is drain on batteries. That can easily be solved with the purchase of a charger.
Overall I recommend to have at least remotes for your Wii but for optimal fun, have 4 remotes. :)

Can't play without it.

My three year old can play using the controller. There are only two buttons to use and the rest is normal actions. Great for the entire family. If you're wondering if you should get one or not, get it. nintendo wii is the way to go.

You need more than one Wii-Mote
Created: 02/15/09
If you own a Wii, you know this system was made to get the whole family together to play. The only bad thing is that Nintendo only packages one wii-mote with their system; and although multiple people can play with (1) remote it takes away from the experience. In order to get the most out of games for Wii you need multiple wii-motes. Its a great little system for party games like Wii-Play and the wii-mote has decent control & recognition. If you want to get the most out of your nintendo wii, then multiple wii-motes is the way to go.
