Before I purchased the PS2 Slim and the XBOX, my sister and I received our second Nintendo video game system as a Christmas gift - the Nintendo GameCube. It's platinum-colored, and it came with two controllers and a copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Perhaps my most memorable gaming moments ever are with the GameCube. The Gamecube is small, lightweight, and quiet. Up to four controllers can be used at once. The graphics are incredible, not too unlike XBOX graphics. It can produce high-quality audio. The game selection, though probably not as huge as the PS2's library, is very good, with memorable titles like Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Metroid Prime. I like the controller layout as well; but it doesn't feel as durable as the XBOX "S" controller, though I would say it is pretty comfortable (plus, I would assume that, being lightweight, children would have an easier time playing on the GameCube than if the controller had been heavier). A downside to the GameCube is the lack of standard features - there's no standard hard drive like on the XBOX, or standard DVD support like on the PS2; however, the GameCube does accomplish its main goal - to play video games, which it does do very well. Overall, I think the GameCube may be my personal favorite video game console of all time, next to the Nintendo 64 and the Nintendo NES. God bless!
This was the coolest video game counsel from my childhood! It was fun while it lasted. They stopped making games for it so I got bored with it. Only problem with it was that I remember I had to blow the slots for the controller sometimes but that was about it. I loved it <3
luv this old skool game console so easy to use very light weight and best of all it fits any where and dont take up space
CUSTOMGAMESYSTEMS360 - This system is good for hours of play. My children loved it. The graphs we clear and the games were excellent. I find that I spend more time playing these systems than fixing them. I like the fact that they can fit anywhere and they don't take up too much space. the games are reasonably priced. I wish Nintendo would release another system like these.
Always have loved the game cube, now as a back up game system and the price purchased on ebay, great back up game system or for when nephew and niece want to play....
