Great for gamers who want more variety.

While extensions are available, the wired controller's cords are small (about 6 feet); and wireless controllers can be a little pricey and difficult to find with their receiver. But, this is a classic game system with many great games such as Super Mario Smash Brothers Melee.
Nintendo always puts out great products. Recommended for any gamer wanting to add to his variety of games.

The Gamecube is a great system really compact and small for easy travel and doesn't take up space. The Gamecube has many ports for multiplayer fun.

Perfect system for parties!

I bought this console for my little sister. She's 15, and has never been into video games like i have, but she's always loved watching.

So i bought a Gamecube, and a few cute games, like Animal Crossing and Mario Party. As well as some fun multiplayer games like super smash bros melee.

I think total, including shipping i spent around $60 ( console, games, controllers, memory card) and it was money well spent!

She loves playing! This system is perfect for parties and younger kids, and even for adults who haven't played video games in 20 years! My mom LOVED playing mario party with my sister and i. She even recommended it for my dad.

The GC has one of my favorite games of all time. I decided to get a new one since I dont like the Wii and wanted to play some of the good games again. the GC has one of the best designs, with a really good airflow, as well as having a good catalog of games. Its easy to use and while it obviosuly is lacking in comparison to the current generation of consoles, for those looking to play some really good old games, this console can easily fit the bill.

With the inexpensive price of older video consoles its todays smart buy!

Oh sure it doesnt have the panache of a ps3 but for a gaming youngster and the young at heart it packs a lot of bang for the buck!
