THE GOOD
Adds two supersized screens; improved viewing angle; fantastic battery life; great new pen-shaped stylus; preinstalled games and software.
THE BAD
A bit bulky and heavy; size makes device less portable; no improvements over DSi's cameras and internal storage; networking hiccups found in DSi remain; text-based games may look slightly blurry; old DSiWare games can't be transferred over to the XL.
THE BOTTOM LINE
At the end of the day, the DSi XL is exactly the same as the DSi, so unless you're desperate for more touch-screen real estate, or your vision is impaired, we can't recommend a purchase over the original DSi.

Extreamly Great Buy. I picked this system up at a very good price. The screens are about twice the size of the regular DS. It makes it much more fun to play games without straining as much. I would recomend eBay over any game stores. You find better deals and the sellers are much more trustworthy.

Awesome game system! Huge screen and cool interface. Love the cameras too. My six year old son loves to play as well as my forty year old husband. Nintendo DSI Xl is hours of fun for the whole family. DSI as opposed to 3DS, is price of course. I bought the DSI for 90 and and the 3DS is 200 right now so the only down side is that we can't play the new releases for DS. The upside is games for DSI are 7-10$ at a pawn shop while new releases are 40-50$. I'm Happy with my DSI Class!

If you don't have a Nintendo DS yet, and you're not ready for the 3DS, this is the best option. The screen size is SO much easier on my eyes, and the hardware is built to last! The only downside is that it cannot play GBA games, but that's no true loss. I love this console and reccomend it over any other DS model!

I just love nintendo !!!! The only dislike thing I have with this particular product is that you can not play gameboy advance games with this console. I think nintendo should have made this console be able to play GBA games. Other than that I really like the size of the screen and the size of the console.
Bought the DSI XL for the kids. DSI XL is great because it has a wider screen than the ds. It has nice features that the kids love , like being able to take pictures and playing around with all the graphics, etc.. I like that it came installed with 2 brainage games. Great product that works great!
