My 7-year old son loves this!!!

My son bought one of these at Gamestop (refurbished) only to have one of the LED cells go out a few days later. With the full refund we were given, we started a search to replace this rare, unique limited edition DS. We found one (not as good a price as we originally paid) and it has been wonderful. I am not a games person, but I have even gotten hooked on the little thing at times. We love the fact it plays all types of DS Nintendo and Advanced GameBoy games...no discrimination like the newer models. His friends are jealous because you don't see these around very much.

Amazing!

To me, The original Nintendo DS is my favorite DS because it plays both GBA&DS games, and uses the same GBA SP charger. Although it is really thick and somewhat difficult to hold, I get used to it, its not so hard when played for about a day or two. The Nintendo DS lite and the Nintendo DSi/xl are really good systems: Ds lite for its ultra portability, DSi: for its camera and soft matte feel and DSiXL: for its Colossal screens and platform. All great systems, but I just think the Nintendo DS is the best :D

Beautiful DS Lite

I love this DS Lite! I already owned a DS Lite prior to my purchase of this one but it was starting to break apart. The one I am talking about is the Crimson/Black DS Lite. The hinge cracked and the L and R buttons were not functioning. The screens were pretty scratched up as well so I thought it was time for a new DS Lite system. I am still keeping the old one because it still works. I am so glad I decided to buy this one because it is beautiful. The outside casing is a glossy black on the top and the bottom of the system. Usually the bottom has a matte finish but this one is shiny all around. Is has the glittery pictures of Palkia and Dialga on the top and they look really awesome. The inside of the system is greay in color which I think goes really well with the glossy black. This is a great DS Lite for a Pokémon fan like myself.

Discreet, portable fun

Lots of fun with the games that I own for it (Brain Age 2, Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts). The screens can be a bit too small if the game has a lot of visual detail, but most of the games work around that issue. I simply love how portable it is as well as how easy it is to tuck it into a purse or large pocket. It makes waiting rooms and family reunions so much more bearable.
