The Nintendo 64 is the system of choice for players who want to get "in" on the most fun in video games. The Nintendo 64 provides 64-bit graphics and CD-quality sound. Microcode-custom CPU control instructions are optimized for audio, lighting, graphic details and other ultra-realistic affects. Trilinear map interpolation subtly blends colors and patterns of texture maps to make objects more realistic, even as they move closer to you. With real-time rendering and awesome graphics, which smoothes out jagged edges, the N64 immerses you in a heart-pounding video game world! Attain new levels of accuracy and play control with the ergonomically designed Controller that gives you complete control over every move through 360 degrees. Optional accessories like the N64 Controller Pak and Rumble Pak expand your game-play possibilities! The Nintendo 64 game library now includes over 200 titles in all game genres, from action and adventure to RPG and puzzle. The Nintendo 64 is the only system where you can play such blockbuster games as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Perfect Dark. The Nintendo 64 console now comes in set of fantastic colors, including Grape, Watermelon, Ice, Jungle Green, Fire and Smoke. Choose the system that matches your personality!
Graphics: A. The N64 rendered the best 3D graphics of its generation, and these were further enhanced with the release of the memory expansion pack in 1999. While optional with most games, the memory pack does make a significant difference in terms of graphic resolution.
Audio: D. With the limited capacity of cartridges, N64 games couldn't hold as much digitized music and sound effects as disk-based systems. As a result, some games feature degraded audio or music that "looped" continuously.
Collectability: C+. Nintendo 64 games were expensive in their time, and they still are. Although the console itself is cheap and easy to acquire, the better games tend to be costly. It's especially difficult to locate complete versions, thanks to the cheap throwaway boxes the games were originally sold in. Still, the system has enough must-have titles to attract collectors and Nintendo fans.
Jungle Green is a relaxing color, I actually was in a forest the other day and thought about my Green machine back home, I thought I should take a picture of it there some time. Of course the graphics are not up to date... but the gameplay is still the best when is comes to exploration and skill in well... PLATFORM games!!! Banjo Tooie, Mario 64, Rocket Robot on Wheels, Goeman... It also has a good snowboarding game in 1080, some good racers like Top Gear rally and Ridge racer 64... Wipout 64 has amazing classic Wipeout gameplay, which I've come to appreciate later in life as back in the 90s I felt it did not use the N64s graphics fully, unlike Extreme G which still looks trippy. It has a exellent f1 game as well on NTSC, Pal has a better f1 selection though. I do love N64. More so than a few girls I loved when I was young, this is because the N64 has stood the test of time unlike my feelings of some the old gals from my youth. Blast corps! Turok 2, Shadows of the empire! Tony Hawk 2 Golden Eye (obviously) Mario Cart 64, Glover's pretty good.... And many more.
Some negatives I found were that it was not a very easy machine to eat. It was hard to chew on and did not taste good :(
The Nintendo 64 Jungke Console is a timeless classi. Mostly knowed for the Donkey Kong game, I bought it since it was in a reasonable cheap price. I've always wanted one for the cool lights and exterior.
One of Nintendo's greatest systems, packaged with an awesome platformer, Donkey Kong 64, and the expansion pak necessary for some games. Not to menton it comes in a limited edition translucent green color.
