BEST PORTABLE GAMING SYSTEM ON THE MARKET

Recently purchased this item as I was looking for a fun portable game system. I had tried the PS Vita, but was left unimpressed.

Positives:

1) The 3DS is pretty much the same size and weight as the DSi.
2) One of the best features of this model is the addition of the analog thumpad which really helps in 3D games.
3) Very bright 3.5" screen
4) Comes with retractable Stylus.
5) Adjustable 3D Effect (Adjust the lens so if you are holding the DS closer/further away from you the picture still will come in clear)
6) 3 Cameras
7) Built-in WiFi

Negatives:

1) Cannot play Gameboy Advance Games.
2) Only About 4 1/2 hours of battery life.
3) Only has 2 GB Storage on SD.
4) Picture quality is average at best.


In addition, the game selection for the Nintendo 3DS is good if you include all the Non-3D games. Pick this portable system up if you are looking for good games with good system functionality.

Overall I love my 3ds and would recommend people switching over to it.

The nintendo 3ds has overall better graphics than the regular or Lite version. it scrolls easier now due to the toggle switch. I don't like the L and R camera buttons, because they remind me of an Xbox controller and I always try to use them in game-play only to take a random picture that was not needed. The 3D is an awesome effect, some people might complain of how it gives them headaches or how you can only see it from a certain angle, and that is where the switch comes in. You can turn the 3d on and off. the touch pad is sensitive but not too sensitive, so i also love that.

Nintendo 3DS

Buying this product was a no brainer .. lol. My twin granddaughters talked about them often.

And I did do my homework regarding how this item matched up against other comparable games.

The product was easy enough to use (my granddaughters are 5 years old and were showing me how to use the product).

The 3DS rated pretty high against their competition ... sometimes all you need to know is what your user base is telling you .. and my granddaughters made it pretty clear that all their friends at their school had these gaming devices.

They loved the options offered in the device as well as the built in camera (which was easy to use and took great pics).

Overall .. I was very pleased with the purchase of these items and would definately recommend them to others.

The ds3 is Great:)

I actually bought it for my daughter to replace the one she lost she however has not played with it but I have, the ds3 works great it almost seems to be new very impressed with it.

It´s an excelent way to entertain your kids during long trips /indoors

This is an awesome gadget for my kid. I bought it as a christmas gift for my 8yr daughter. It is very versatile. She takes pictures of her friends and relatives, she modify the pics and do a lot of cool stuff with it. The only thing is that she easily spend too many hours playing games, that´s when parents have to take responsability. (She nows complain about pain on her elbows, probably too much time playing during these vacations).
Battery time is probably the only issue this console has.But it is ok.
