I picked up my Nextbook for mostly personal use, knowing there was no cell service with the product, only WIFI. It's been very reliable, requiring few recharges and zero system crashes. Having the user manual, plus an assortment of other books, in the EBookReader is incredibly handy, since I already have enough reference books I need to keep with me.
There are only two negatives I have come across. First, after the WiFi is turned on to search for available connections, it shuts itself off after about 20-30 seconds. Very annoying. The other issue, one which will always bother me, is that the tablet doesn't offer access to the Android Market, just a collection of apps made by individual developers. It's very small, simplistic, lacks helpful descriptions and is not easy to navigate. The best way to use it is to download about 20 apparel, then go through them one by one to see if they are any good... for as long as i've had it, I have yet to find more than one.
Good value for this item, but I can see why the previous owner sold it. There are problems with the Nextbook staying hooked up to the WIFI. Many times it will disconnect for no reason. Downloads of apps are hard to complete if it does not stay connected.
Over all size and weight along with battery life is nice.
I bought this because my laptop died and I couldn't afford to replace it right away. I have access to wifi so I just wanted a tablet to keep me connected. It serves its purpose, but it is small and some of the functions are unwieldy. The picture is great and it's light. I think I had lofty ideas. I would buy it again in the same circumstances.
Just couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to my daughter.
She loves this tablet. Very convenient to carry with her wherever she goes. Uses it to research the internet for her college classes, or simply surf the Web and check email.
Great item!!!
i got this at an okay price, but i dislike the product. it's slow, and if it freezes, i can't do anything about it... i have to wait until it turns off. the apps don't work on it, and the internet app it has sucks. i would rather have kept my $60something.
