This film is a must see for anyone who's ever "experienced" high school or ever wished they could go back and do it all over again now that they're grown. It is a heartwarming account of a homely, shy, copy-editor for the Chicago Sun Times(played by Drew Barrymore)who takes her first undercover writing assignment as a high school student. On her journey as the "ugly duckling" she finds friendship,love, and most importantly finds herself as she blossoms beautifully before the screen. This is a feel-good movie that will warm your heart, make you laugh and make you cry. Best said; Frank Marshall did it again! And yes, you can expect a cameo from him as well! Buy it, watch it, and watch it all over again!
Drew Barrymore has really come into her own these last few years with her romantic comedies. She is precious... this movie takes you back to High School (in all aspects..from first loves to favorite teachers). Grab it while you can. :)
if you can get past the fact that not one person in this high school so much as suspects that drew Berrymore is not in fact a Highschool student but is really a news reporter - you'll find this romanytice comedy to be very entertaining... This is one of the better 90's teenage Chick Flicks and an altogether fun movie!!
I love this movie. I am a huge Drew Barrymore fan. This is a love story nobody would forget and very funny. Drew Barrymore plays a journalist who finds herself when doing an undercover piece in a local high school. I love this movie.
I decided to buy it because I watched it years and years back and loved it. I've been looking for it in stores and haven't yet found it so as soon as i saw it here on ebay, i had to get it :D It's a movie about love, finding yourself and quite funny. When i was younger i had a crush on the teacher in the film :x
Drew Barrymore was an excellent actor and was perfect for this film. It may be a chick flick but i think if the guys watched it they would love it too, whether it be because of Jessica alba ;) or seeing that it's a cute movie.
