This package is pretty much all that you need top help certify yourself for the NASM certification. Even if you don't take the exam it is very helpful if you're already a trainer

NASM Essentials of PersFitnessTraining NatAcadSportsMed

Pretty good for intoduction to fitness trainer. Safety suggestions are very well done, especially to consult with medical specialists for disabilities so as not to add insult to pre-existing injuries. Breakdown of lifting suggestions, i.e., lists of exercises per body part was pretty limited and ROM range of motion, number of seconds per rep, amount of weight used for total reps and sets was at beginner levels for an experienced fitness trainer. Suggestions for diabetes was pretty basic. Body composition suggestions and fitness assessment is well done for balance, coordination, gross motor skills, speed, reflexes, etc. Overall the book in this area was well done. Like scripture, build on a solid foundation, so as years of study and practice go by you have a thorough working knowledge and skill acquisition, to share with the people you work with in fitness training and public circles.

NASM Marterials

I purchased this item because I am interested in becoming a personal trainer along with being a therapist working with people who have eating disorders. I feel that this this a good combination and that it can help me in the future in my career. Everything was great and I definitely enjoy learning the material!

I PASSED THE EXAM!!!

Book is awesome. It prepares you very well for the NASM CPT exam. I read the whole book in a week (monday-friday) and took the test that saturday (and passed of course)! GREAT book
