) I was introduced to Mystery Science Theater 3000, at a 'movie night' party I was throwing, themed 'Hilarious Movies' One of movies that was brought over was this one, and I have never laughed that much in my life. The movie then was on VHS and my friend said that he could never find a DVD copy. But a quick search online and here it was.
The movie is something that I would recommend to anyone to watch, way to funny, I was laughing so much that I missed most of the lines and had to watch it again.
The quality of the movie itself is excellent, way better then the VHS version. So if your a MST3K fan this a perfect purchase to add to your collection and a perfect way to become a fan.

This movie was great! Well, the guys ripping the movie were great anyway! The movie is 1955's "This Island Earth" with the wise-cracking crew from Mystery Science Theater 3000 adding some much need comic relief. I, for one, am a huge fan of the MST3K episode series, but wasn't sure what to think about a feature-length film. However, I can honestly say that this is one of the funniest movies I've seen from the Mystery Science Theater Collection.

) This DVD is a must have for any true MST3K fan. Its very hard to find and out of print, but a treasure for any collection.
The movie itself is just like an episode of the TV series with a larger budget, meaning more detailed props and longer host segments. The movie is very funny, maybe not the best MST3K show, but its definetly worth watching.

One of the funnest of the Mystery Science Theater series I have seen. The comments are priceless though out the entire movie. I watched the movie on a couple of occasions with different family members and everyone shared the same level of enjoyment. This one is a winner in comparison to several other Mystery Science Theater movies I watched from Netflix. I am happy I bought this instead one.

This movie is a great comedy. The actors make fun of old B-rated movies while ona sattelite above earth. Great premise and a load of laughs.
