My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-night Stands by Chelsea Handler (2008, Unabridged, Compact Disc)

This is one of the funniest books I have read in a while. Chelsea Handler (host of the popular E! series Chelsea Lately) tells some stories about her one night stands. She is very funny and keeps you interested in what she has to tell you. I didn't want to put this book down and when I was finished I was sad that the ride with her ended. If you want to read a funny book to forget your problems and relax for awhile then this is the book for you.

I really enjoyed this book because it was so hilarious, so "my sense of humor"! Chelsea Handler is a great comedian and now an excellent authoress. You feel like you're right along there with her as she goes through her dating mishaps, sexual adventures, etc.

I bought this book because I had heard that it was incredibly funny and a lot like Chelsea's comedy. It was great, would definetily recommend for the single lady.

I have to be honest, her humor is pretty crude but that's what makes it so funny. Chelsea tells it like it is and helps gives guys a little perspective on what it is like to be on the other side of the conversation when the girl is the one looking for a one night stand.

I found this book to be incredibly entertaining. It is my second time reading this book and I have bought about 5 copies and sent them as gifts. It is definatly not the king out book you read aloud to children or to a church group. The contents are over the top but if you arent easily offended than it is a must have. I found that the first book by Chelsea Handler was much funnier than the second. But that is my personal opinion.
I do not recommend for the up tight women.
I even bought a copy for my Dad and he enjoyed it so muchhe passed it on to my stepmother.
It is a must read for all your crazy women out there, or the women who have the crazy days behind them and need a good laugh.

Chelsea Handler is right when she says that if you have the equivalent of a 3 rd graders education , you can read this book. What she doesn't say is that if you have even the slightest sense of humor, you will laugh your ass off, especially if you're a woman ! She is so forthright about her escapades and really doesn't hold anything back !!! If you enjoy a spirited, somewhat wayward approach to life ( and I mean that in a good way), you will really laugh long and hard at this book. There is clearly something in it for every woman to relate to on one level or another ( that is of course if you are being honest with yourself )
