Fun - filled Family Movie!!!

"My Date with the President's Daughter" is a must see! The movie is tells the story of sixteen year old Hallie Richmond who recieved an invitation to a high school dance from Duncan Fletcher. But there is a hang up: Hallie is the daughter of President George Richmond and First Lady Carol Richmond! President Richmond is up for re-election and is hesitant to let Hallie go out with "some boy she met at a mall"! But when the First Lady intervenes, he reluctantly agrees. When Duncan arrives to pick Hallie up for the dance, he discovers that the adress that Hallie gave him was for the White House; he did not know that she was the President's daughter! The teenagers are given a list of movie theaters and restaurants that had been secured by the secret service and told that they were only allowed to go to those places. That meant the dance was out! Instead, the four of them go to the movies; Duncan, Hallie, and two body guards! The kids manage to sneak away from the movies and get free of the body guards so that they can go to the dance! This action leads from one disaster to another. Duncan runs a $700 purchase on his dad's credit card, the kids have to hide from some country truck drivers who want to beat Duncan up, Duncan's car get stolen (which turns out to be his dad's company car!), Hallie leaves Duncan for a bad boy motor cycle driver, and much more! Meanwhile, the Secret Service is spending $50,000 in tax payers money trying to apprehend the teenagers through the streets of D.C. With sub plots such as the President and Duncan's father being arrested, Duncan's fathers boss discovering that Duncan had taken the company car, a convenient store robbery, a high speed car chase and bratty little sister Tracey, this movie is action packed as well as hilarious!!! "My Date with the President's Daughter" is a movie that your whole family will enjoy! In addition to being funny, it is also a clean movie, free of any offensive scenes or bad language. This is a safe movie for any child plus it is so classic Disney! Hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does!

My Date with the President's Daughter is a made-for-tv comedy film released in 1998 about a 17 year old teenager's date with the president's daughter and their wild adventures as they try to make their way to a high school dance.

This is a great family movie that everyone can enjoy. The film portrays the hardships of being a parent as well as being a teenager. Aside from a minor confrontational scene (punches are thrown) in which the president's daughter has to be saved from a bad situation it is fairly appropriate for any age. My Date With The President's Daughter will surely bring laughter and joy to the entire family as you join these two wacky teenagers on their night out in the city.
