The Mummy Collection: Widescreen is a two disk special edition collectors set. It features "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns".
These movies are a great action packed thrill ride that stars Brendan Fraser in the lead role. They are set in the 1930's and feature Fraser defending the heroine (Rachel Weisz) as they awake and battle a terrible egyptian mummy priest.
These movies are both action packed and really well written. A great movie for any night of the week!

This is really fun adventure. The Mummy and, The Sequel, The Mummy Returns are great with continuous excitement. The bad guys are tough, the magic is strong and the secrets are right under their noses, if they can find them. The Scorpion King, the third movie, is set in the same venue. The ROCK is rockin'. This ticket may have some sand on it, go ahead, it's good.
This is an excellent pair of movies. There is non-stop excitement, a lot of good special effects, and good characterizations and acting. My only regret is they didn't make a third movie. I bought this DVD set because I like watching it so much, I wore out my VHS copies!
Captures the essences of The Mummy storyline without the extra dvds (The Scorpion King, etc) - wonderful movies!
i bought this title because i love these movies and wanted to add them to my dvd collection. i am also i bendan fraiser fan and my daughters love the little boy in the 2nd movie.
