Movie synopsis
Adventure-loving house painter Mr. Popper (Jim Carrey) contends with the problem of having too many penguins in director Mark S. Waters' adaptation of author Richard Atwater's beloved children's book. Shortly after penning a letter to a team of Arctic explorers, Mr. Popper is surprised to receive a penguin in the mail. Later, after making his mischievous new pal a cozy new home in the freezer, the hapless Mr. Popper comes into possession of a playful female penguin as well. Before long Mr. Popper finds himself surrounded by a growing family of the flightless birds, and begins training them to perform in a traveling show dubbed Popper's Performing Penguins. With each new town the show travels to, pandemonium is quick to follow.

HIGHLY RECOMENDED BUY ONE FOR YOURSELF TODAY!
I am pressing 70 Years now, and I absolutely Loved this Movie. 5-Stars -All the way!
Any adult who did not enjoy this movie, didn't actually Sit & Watch it from begining to end.
IF you didn't know, what "Made the Movie" was the Actual Use of Live Trained Penguins. Gives you a whole new Appreciation of the Film.
And or course the fact that Everyone on the Set was Freezing, to keep the Penguins Comfortable.
.....& The Dinner Table Scene? JIm Carrey was Actually there, beak to eye with 6 Real Penguins! (no CGI!) Can You Say Brave?
I Respect Jim's willingness to do Most Anything to get the job done!
Comedy is his True Calling. He has OUTDONE himself
with this "Working with Penguins".

Awesome family film

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very entertaining family film..Enjoyed this updated version of the much loved children's book of Mr Popper's Penguins.
Enjoyed it with a family group ranging from 2yr to 89 yrs.
A cute movie with Jim Carey;s magic touch for humor and moments of tears.

This is a very cute and funny family movie. We bought this for my 2.5 yr old and he LOVES it. There are some things only Jim Carrey can pull off.

My 5 yr old really wanted to see this & we did, She absolutely loved it. I thought it was cute. They could have done so much more with this idea of a movie and Jim Carrey at their disposal but they didn't. Overall its a decent movie, it will make you laugh and has some sweet spots as well. NICE & CLEAN movie for once for kids. Carey is a trip and the penguins r adorable. For myself I would not buy, but my lil one really wants it so I will be buying this one when the price goes down ;)
