A great Motorola product that you can get at a fair price. Android operating system with a touch screen as well as a keyboard so this device should work well for anyone. The "conversation" concept for managing texts is nice and the camera has good quality. The only downfall I have so far with this device is that he camera does not appear to have support for a flash.
I genuinely like this phone. I like the ease of operation and accessibility to social networking updates and emails. The apps are okay, but the phone is of good quality. The QWERTY keyboard is a little small for my sausage fingers (cause I'm a bigger guy) but most people probably wouldn't have a problem with it. The battery doesn't have much of a life to it when you have wifi, bluetooth and other things running at the same time. When you shut these off, it lasts longer. Use the battery saver settings and you should be okay. Good phone, well made, lives up to the Motorola name.
I made a wrong decision, the product is very good but in my country I can not use.
CDMA technology does not apply here.
I have the MOTRLA Devoir unused, need to sell.
I repeat, not as bad vedo but because its technology does not help.
I really love this phone. I switched from the LG Versa. At first it was a little hard getting used to the size/weight. I used to own a sidekick 2 a longggg time ago and wow! I would compare it to the original gameboy to the ds lite. Fast, battery life is excellent. You can use the keyboard or the touch screen which is great. Large screen. FAST web pages and easy to view. I even bought a cute case for it and I am 100% satisfied, I think this is a great phone for anyone looking to upgrade!
The MOTO VU 204 is the ideal cell phone for those using it as a phone only. It has better send/receive sensitivity than most Cell phones I've seen or used as well as good voice fidelity. I works well inside power plants where electrical (RF) noise is very high. I've even been able to communicate from inside solid steel vessels in 2bar (outside the vessel) signal areas. Slender with a rubbery case, it slips easily into your pocket. And there's the bite. In the pocket the inside screen gets scratched by the key pad. It looks awful but, still readable when the backlite kicks in. This could be fixed by sticking thin rubber strips on the sides of the keypad or the screen to keep them from touching when in your pocket. A case makes the unit too bulky for pocket use.
I wouldn't be caught dead with a holster, the 21st century nerd pocket.
Verizon no longer sells this unit so I buy it privately, or refurbished. I carry it in my pocket
