Hi fellow ebayers
I got this phone a couple weeks ago when I found a good deal on it as just a basic music phone or whatever I could find to use for it. I decided on something different after giving the appropriate test. It worked good for calls, had amazing features, and keyboard was excellent. Now for the cons. You cannot send pix messages unless in Outlook. If you choose to send by MMMS or TXT, it will NOT send. I cannot find a way to fix this and it seems a glitch.
As with previous phones I owned, they closed out completely when I'm out of an APP. this one is a NO. i HAVE to run app killer to kill the selected apps or i cannot go back into them again.
The battery was ok, but with heavy web browsing with WIFI sd, the battery REALLY drains. REALLY. I decided that it wasn't the best value that I could have had.
It worked good for the gaming and web usage, I never really tested calling except to see if the ESN was cleared if I ever planned on using it. it was ok but not the best I could've had/gotten.
The phone was perfect, but even better the customer service by this supplier was FANTASTIC............They acted quickly like one of my best friends, it was like my little problem was thiers with no hesitation they immediately took care of everything and delivered the phone in less than 4 days. My only wish is that they expand thier suppliers to include phones for Metro Pcs cause this is the ONLY comapany all of ebay should buy from. And to the woman that called me and took care of it for me...........Your fantastic too they should give you a raise......
PERFECT-FANTASITC-EXCELLENT AND SO MUCH MORE !!!!!!!!!!

It's 2010 and I just bought this years old phone. And that is one of its great strengths, it can be found cheap. As of this time, about $40 should get you a Q9c. I flashed mine to work with cricKet service, so I get unlimited everything for $40/month.
Using the phone is quite intuitive. The keyboard is actually quite easy to use and the directional pad gives good feedback.
For the money, this phone will do most everything you would want. I have also used HTC touch screen Pocket PC's, and I think I prefer the Moto. Simple design and a huge amount of apps (many free) also help this phone keep up.
Looking for great value in a phone, the Q9c is it.
I bought it out of necessity. I have been diagnosed with cancer of the tongue and am about to have surgery which will remove at least 50% of my tongue, all my teeth and all the limp nodes in my throat. I will have a tube out of my throat to breath and a tube down my nose to my stomach to receive nourishment so I'm not going to be talking for awhile. Text-messaging and e-mail are going to be my only form of communication I'll have for awhile and everything I have read about the Q's performance and knowing there is no better brand than Motorola I chose the Motorola Q. My mistake was buying used from an individual instead of buying new or at least refurbished by a dealer with a good track record. I think a new one would work like a dream and be everything most people would ever need. The only suggestion I have is Motorola should design a stylus especially to fit the small buttons on the Q and it would be perfect.
This is a great phone I have had it for over 2 years and even bought another "backup" because you can finds these really cheap less than $70 here o ebay. The browser is fast and the phones windows format makes playing simple videos and clips you upload from your computer or download right from the phone a breeze. Has other nice features like voice calling works sometimes but is more of a amusment than helpfull. Test set up is really intuitive and I could think of a better set up with easy to setup push box email. Nicely spaced keypad makes texting a breeze I hate touchpad phones and stick with full qwerty models. Cheap replacement option if you sunk your expensive phone in a lake.
