Would buy again & did for my husband!

I needed a new phone for work & knew I wanted a "smart phone". I did ALOT of reseach including asking all of my patients & clients what they had, what they liked/dislikes/problems, etc. (We have had Motorola phones & have been happy w/the durability for the most part.)

$ Brands stuck out at me from all of the research, Blackberry, LG, Motorola, & HTC. All of these brands had the needed reliablity, durability, & ease of use that I needed. It came down to finding the model that had the needed features I wanted.

I tried a notebook for a while & hated it, as well as not liking dragging my full-sized laptop with me, so I wanted a phone that could duplicate as much of the needed computer functions as possible. I have to surf medical sites for clients & patients, often (& downloading to print info,) as well as a decent camera.

I have clients that work for large corporations in the state that provide them w/great insurance, but no down time to make appointments to keep their health intact, so being able to text w/a reg keyboard was a must!

I have been able to sync my appts on the phone in my desktop & vise versa, as well as take notes & send to myself & MD's. I didn't explore the Blackberrys as extensively as some of the others due to not liking the size (I am a small, young woman, my field is chronic pain & use my hands extensively thru the day- but I had a hard time w/those little buttons on the BB. I am amazed how men use them!), however, from some of my BB using PTs, I know I'm able to do many of the same office tasks/functions they do!

I can easily check/answer email, sched appts...I have been wowed by this phone!

The Cliq has everything I need in the form of a phone, mini computer & camera to allow me to do my job w/ease. With a touch screen I might add! Way better than the Ipod!! I have not dropped a single call, as I do see some pts in home who live in very rural areas. I also live in a rural area & commute.
Not a single problem w/calling, clarity, etc.

I found the ease of which to use the phone wonderful! I am not commputer-savvy & easily found my way around how to work it w/out ever looking at the manual. (I don't suggest that though. That's a big character flaw learned from my Dad I haven't broken...! "Manual?? Who needs a manual?? Now hand me those screws!")

My husband saw my phone & had to have one, he's found "fun" functions I haven't bothered to look for, from making videos, photoshopping pictures, & MP3's.

The Cliq has the tools for the both the business end as well as those who want it for fun.

Hope this helps someone trying to decide!

Motorola CLIQ hits the spot

I needed a phone that could manage all of my contacts (350+)and schedule. The Blackberry Pearl was compact, but lacked in ability. I switched to the CLIQ in hopes of finding a digital organizer that could double as a phone, I was quite pleased with the results. Not only did it manage all of my important information, it has a 5.0 megapixel camera that takes case quality photographs (I'm an investigator), but the full QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen make it a snap to enter data on the fly. I wish I had two more hands, I would give the CLIQ 4 thumbs up. Whether for work or pleasure, this phone meets all my demands and does it with style. I added an 8gb microSD card to store media and a Body Glove clip/stand/case made of high impact rubber. The touchscreen is responsive, the keyboard is just the right size for larger hands, and with the rugged case, it's nearly unbreakable. There are tons of features and if you're not intimidated by learning how to use them, this phone will take care of all your needs and then some. The ONLY thing I would change about the CLIQ is the internal speaker and they need to invent an app that allows you to listen to music through your bluetooth headset. I have the ICON Hero by Jawbone and would love to be able to work and listen to my music at the same time without being obvious. Other than that, I give it a solid 9.9 out of 10!

Understated but very functional

I enjoy cell phones and have had a number of different models. I currently use the galaxy s samsung vibrant. the motorola is a small but impressive phone. the capabilities are outstanding and the layout is easy to use if you are comfortable with android phones. screen size is adequate and so is resolution. i was overall very pleased with this product. keyboard is an added bonus.

great phone!.. tons of gadgets, wi-fi technology so no need for data plan.!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I've had had this phone for less than a week, and can not be happier.
Pros: lots of apps, nice screen with vivid colors and very easy to move your fingers around it. I love the fact that there is an option to use the keyboard or just use the touch screen. But most of all, i LOVE the wi-fi technology of this phone!.. I can check the news, emails, go to the web, youtube, you name it!.. and nowadays you can find wifi hot spots almost everywhere, so no need for a data plan.
Cons: battery life is not that great, but it is probably because I've been playing with the phone a lot lately ( need to charge it after 1.5 days).
The phone camera does not have an auto focus, so i don;t know about the quality of the picture, as i need to buy a SD memory card first.
Overall: great phone, you will be happy.

Great phone, very underplayed!

Only reason this review did not give the phone an excellent is because of the old Google 1.5 OS that is installed and no current updates are being released as promised by Tmobile.

The phone is a Masterpiece. If you love the convenience of a full keyboard, along with a touch screen, that is also a slide phone, which by the way is very sturdy, I would recommend this phone to just about anyone.

I already have one of these phones and decided to get one for my girlfriend since she is always borrowing it to play free android games.

I can't begin to tell how much of a convenience it is to have this phone. The camera is very good in good lighting, however because no flash is included, low light is a problem. It also takes great video, as I have uploaded a few youtube videos and they look better than webcam videos.

The keyboard is super compact and only thing you might not like is the spacebar. Because it is the same size as the other function keys on the lower part of the keyboard.

If you are thinking about getting this phone, DONT HESITATE!! GET IT!!!
