The Motorola Droid Pro combines a touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard into a compact design. The Android 2.2 smartphone offers enhanced security features for business users, as well as mobile hot spot capabilities.
The Droid Pro's HVGA display isn't quite as sharp as the competition. Call quality could be better. Paltry internal memory.
The enhanced security features and touch-screen-keyboard combo make the Motorola Droid Pro a nice BlackBerry alternative, but it still has some shortcomings.

3.7" Touch Screen Display, Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo),
I am a cellphone junkie. I am constantly getting new phones. Before I got this phone, I had a nice touch-screen only phone, but to text, which I do a lot of seemed like such a pain that most of the time I just wouldn't respond. This phone satisfies me! The Android operating system has pulled me onto their side and away from Apple. It has great features like a car dock app pre-installed, convenient QWERTY keyboard, speaker phone, pattern unlock for security purposes and it's on the best of the best Verizon network. It comes with GPS and operates on the 3G network. Tons of social networking features are included to keep you in the loop and see what your friends and family are up to. This phone is just like carrying around a computer. I recommend it to everyone!
easy to set up and to use. i was a satisfied BBerry user for a number of years, but this is better in every way. i use it primariy for business and syn outlook address book, caolendar and contact list. the calendar syn is not automatic, but it still functions satisfactorily.
the only negative for me is the size and weight, but that does not diminish my overall opinion.
This phone is the most frustrating piece of crap. This is my second one because I thought the first one was just a fluke of problems and its supposed to be such a SUPER phone. All it is was an attempt by Verizon to get something on the market while they got creamed by the iPhone.
If its cold outside the touch screen does not work well at all.
If its really cold outside the letters pop off the buttons.
Its full of glitches that cause it to hang on a screen until you turn it off or remove the battery.
Most of the apps are Apple knock offs that are also full of glitches.
If you hold the phone to your ear instead of using the blue tooth it will shift to speaker mode and start dialing numbers from contact with your cheek.
It randomly notifies you of e-mails and voicemails even when it is set to ring.
Don't ask anyone at Verizon for help since all they can say is, "Did you dial *228 this week? or my other favorite, "did it get wet?"
Its just really not for someone who wants a reliable phone. Get an iPhone with another carrier.
For outside of U.S., at least one more APN should be set at the same time. This is basically for the people in the U.S.A.
Since I am live in Japan and own Softbank SIM, it has both open connection and WAP connection capabilities. To use these access points two different user IDs have to be set.
But, other features are sufficiently good comparing with other android phones.
